“Every end is a new beginning” the proverb says. Frontman Phil Bee saw the river run dry in 2013 with his former band King MO and hoped to get some time off, to ‘fool around’ with friends, jam and attend nice concerts. The jamming and attending concerts soon led to new ideas and of course blood is thicker than water, so some rehearsals were planned at the beginning of 2014 with a bunch of friends. Excellent musicians from Belgium and the Netherlands, Phil had played with on earlier occasions. After one rehearsal everybody was smiling. And that’s the understatement of the year. A show case concert was soon planned and March 30th the band played at a full house in de Noot (Hoogland-NL) and recorded the whole show.
The crowd was very curious to hear and see how the band would present itself. For sure they weren’t disappointed and that’s the least one can say. Part of this concert (plus a bonus studio track) will be released soon on the Continental Records Service label. Be prepared to hear a crossover of Bobby Bland meeting Eric Clapton or Gov’t Mule meeting Jamie Cullum. Jazz, blues, soul, rock, tastefully mixed and played by the low countries’ top of the crop musicians. Caught Live !
